Safari Itinerary
Upon your morning arrival, your guide will greet you and drive you straight to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, Tarangire also hosts buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, and predators like lions, leopards, and occasionally cheetahs.
You’ll break for a scenic picnic lunch inside the park, then continue the game drive into the afternoon. Later in the day, drive to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight at Twiga Lodge.
After an early breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive in the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to spot the rare black rhino. This 256 km² caldera is a wildlife haven, home to elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hyenas, jackals, flamingos, and prides of lions.
Enjoy your picnic lunch near the hippo pool, then continue exploring the crater floor until late afternoon. Return to Twiga Lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a half-day game drive. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is known for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and diverse birdlife, including seasonal flocks of flamingos.
Enjoy the scenic views of the alkaline lake and lush groundwater forests before driving back to Arusha in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Tulia Lodge.

JLW20202024-05-30Verified Anderson is extremely experienced and reliable Absolutely fantastic safari with Anderson. He’s incredibly experienced and well connected, meaning we got to see many animals at Tarangire including a rare sighting of a leopards, lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, monkeys, ostriches and more. The views were great and driving around the park with Anderson was very fun indeed.Additionally to the great safari, he helped us hugely with transfers late at night. We had booked a lunchtime flight to Arusha but precision air delayed it by 8 hours (for a 1 hour flight from Zanzibar). They were then unable to fly us, and put us on the only other plane with a different airline flying to Kilimanjaro and not Arusha. Precision air told us there would be a transfer back to Arusha (1hr+ drive), but at 11pm we were stuck in Kilimanjaro airport without anyone to help us. Anderson went above and beyond to save us from this situation, being contactable at that time of night and then sorting us a transfer was exceptional service. To add to his reliability, he was always early meeting us. Thank you so much Anderson! sergew0lf2021-09-02Verified Extraordinaire !!!
