Tour Overview
This 4-day safari offers a perfect introduction to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit, taking you through three of the most iconic parks: Tarangire National Park, the world-famous Serengeti, and the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater.
Starting with the elephant-rich landscapes of Tarangire, you’ll journey through the vast savannahs of Serengeti — home to the Big Five and dramatic wildlife sightings — before ending with a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with animals.
Accompanied by an experienced guide, you’ll enjoy immersive game drives, scenic landscapes, and comfortable lodges and camps that bring you close to nature without sacrificing comfort. This safari is ideal for travelers short on time but eager for an unforgettable wildlife experience.
Safari Itinerary
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your Tena Expeditions guide and depart straight for Tarangire National Park, a gem known for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. Keep an eye out for lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and more.
Later in the evening, exit the park and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Trees Inn.
After breakfast, begin your scenic journey toward Serengeti National Park, enjoying wildlife sightings along the way as you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After completing the formalities at the Serengeti entry gate, begin your afternoon game drive inside the park.
Later, head to Into Wild Tented Camp, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night surrounded by the wild beauty of the Serengeti.
Spend the entire day exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti. This world-renowned park offers excellent chances to see the Big Five and a wide variety of animals, particularly big cats like lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
In the evening, return to Into Wild Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, depart Serengeti and head toward Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into this incredible natural wonder for a half-day game drive. The crater floor hosts an abundance of wildlife, including elephants, hippos, lions, and the rare black rhino.
Around midday, ascend from the crater and begin the drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa for dinner and overnight.
